On April 10, Dr. Julie McCargar and Cory Curl report the results of a study they did with Dr. William Sanders that looked at the disparity in teacher effectiveness across Tennessee schools, based on student poverty and race/ethnicity. <more> Looking for past Web events? Parent Involvement Conference, Ashburn, VA
Edvantia's Carolyn Reynolds, conference co-chairperson, invites parents, community leaders, and educators to the National Coalition of ESEA Title I Parents Region III Conference, Ashburn, VA, April 25-27. Edvantia's Robert Hagerman will present a parent involvement workshop (in Spanish) that includes tips on helping English language learners succeed.
