Schooling in Appalachia
Look for an article by Edvantia's Dr. Caitlin Howley in Volume 12, Number 1 of the Journal of Appalachian Studies. Titled "Purpose and Place: Schooling and Appalachian Residence," the article explores the meanings families attach to education through interviews conducted with three Appalachian families.
