Get Professional Development That Addresses Your Priorities and Needs
Edvantia constructs every professional development experience using research-based standards that structure and scaffold learning according to the principles of adult learning. We adhere to the context, process, and content standards outlined in the National Staff Development Council’s Standards for Staff Development.
Edvantia’s research-based professional development includes topics related to coaching school improvement, curriculum and instruction, and leadership. It may be delivered in person or online via ePD at Edvantia.
Professional Development Your Way. New from Edvantia, Professional Development Your Way lets you customize training and coaching based on your schools, your needs, and your schedule. You select the topic of improvement for your school or district, you decide how much training you need, and you set the schedule.
Developing Teacher Leaders. One powerful teacher retention strategy is providing support for teachers to develop their leadership skills. School Performance Strategies. Components of this research-based system of services have been used to help more than 2,000 schools move along the path to improvement.
Comprehensive literacy. Designed to help teachers implement innovations associated with Reading First grants, this professional development has been used by thousands of teachers and found effective through evaluation studies.

Edvantia Calibrate. This suite of tools and consulting services is available to leaders and educators at all levels, involved in all aspects of alignment with state academic standards. Components address developing the standards themselves to calibrating the taught curriculum and everything in between.
School Performance Diagnostics. Survey instruments and customized reports help schools and districts identify their present strengths and weaknesses and focus their strategies for school improvement.
