Description: The Appalachia Regional Comprehensive Center (ARCC) at Edvantia sponsored this forum as an opportunity for educators, parents, and supporting organizations to focus on literacy and parent involvement in the context of these topics of high priority as identified in state goals. Five state-selected representatives from each state in the ARCC Region were invited. School and district personnel, local education agency staff, parents, and members of supporting organizations were also encouraged to attend.
